Taking it to the Small Screen
Recently, I started a YouTube channel called Quick on the Draw. My intent with my channel is to A) be a unique, fun outlet for me to express my art through, and B) to share advice, tips, tricks, process and more with other artists and creative people! I am having a blast with it so far. You can watch my introduction video below:
I will be sharing a new video every Sunday, and I will be doing Q&A Artist Talks with fellow illustrators and artists every week at an announced time. My first Q&A Artist Talk was a lot of fun, and I was privileged enough to be able to interview the fantastic Brooke Olivares and Matteo Caloiaro, two painters and also teachers at the Ringling College of Art & Design. They were wonderful guests as well as being a wealth of information and advice. I am so grateful to them for agreeing to appear on my channel, and I look forward to lots more equally exciting Q&A Artist Talks to come! You can watch my first Q&A Artist Talk here. Make sure to follow the RSVP link for each upcoming Q&A Artist Talk so you can ask lots of questions to my guests during the Google Hangout On Air.
What’s to Come
In the future, besides featuring more artists on my channel, I will also be doing art giveaways, documenting my Inktober process each week during October, the 3 marker challenge, and much more! I can’t wait to share this all with you and I hope you will subscribe to see my videos each week! In the meantime, look out for my latest video about my favorite art supplies coming out tomorrow!
